What a ‘bootiful’ start to the year it has been! The Year 1 children kicked off our new topic by bringing in their own pair of favourite shoes and showing them off. We thought about how shoes make us feel and how fortunate we are to have shoes to wear on our feet.
This week, we have begun to think and learn about farmers’ boots and all of the different jobs that they do on a farm at different times of the year. We finished the week off with a trip to our local Belmont Farm where we went on a tractor ride and saw many different farm animals and how farmers care for them.
