Last Friday 4 October the Foundation Fun Run took place; pupils from Mill Hill, Year 7 and Year 8 pupils from Belmont and Year 1 and Year 2 children from Grimsdell took part in an exciting event (which featured a biathlon-style swim for some of the participants) to raise funds for the A Better Chance Bursaries campaign. In spite of some overcast weather it was a fantastic day, with plenty of parents and staff turning up to cheer on the pupils. It also gave our Foundation a chance to celebrate our provision of bursary places, which have enriched our schools and created benefits for all of our pupils since they launched in 2007.
During the run-up to the event a significant amount of sponsorship has been donated, and we would like to thank everyone for their generosity so far in which we have raised just under £2,000.
