Halloween Horror at Belmont

Year 5 pupils in Mrs De Souza Dark’s English group have been writing newspaper reports recently; this week they attended a press conference in the library, where they asked questions and took notes, just like real reporters. They then turned their notes into newspaper articles, as you can see in Lucy and Alara’s wonderful report. Thanks to all of this group for their hard work and excellent questions.

On Friday lunchtime the party took off during Lower School lunch, with pupils creating paper pumpkins and spooky masks. They also enjoyed dressing up in costumes and Upper School pupils also joined in with the creativity, making Halloween-themed paper pumpkins, masks and even pictures with elements of DT combined!

With enormous thanks to all the teachers who came along to help including Mr Phillips, Ms Sutherns, Miss Cregg and particularly Miss Chrisostomou and Miss Black, who were so helpful with the craft activities.

Happy Halloween and happy reading!
