It’s been a busy week for our senior pupils with the Student World University Roadshow making their annual visit to the school on Tuesday this week to focus on global Higher Education opportunities. This year saw admissions representatives from the following institutions talking to Fifth Form and Sixth Form pupils about University options around the world at their institutions.
Pupils were able to take time to ask questions and gather valuable information to inform future decision making, whilst enjoying a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Continuing the international higher education theme, Wednesday morning saw a seminar breakfast meeting for pupils with admissions representatives from the Canadian Universities of Queen’s and Ryerson. Here pupils had the opportunity to talk to the representatives about the opportunities related to studying in Canada for undergraduate level and ask questions about the application process and entry requirements for the different universities and between the UK and Canadian Education systems.
This week sees the UK University early application process gather pace as the Oxbridge, Medic, Dentist and Veterinary Science UCAS deadline take place with the US early application deadline taking place in the October half term and we wish all of our pupils the very best of luck with their applications in this early round and with all of the applications that follow this term.
