The Senior Basketball squad was eager to show their skills in front of their home crowd for the first time this season against a well drilled Watford Grammar School for Boys team. In a stroppy game where grit and hunger for victory prevailed over tactics our team showed their strength of character against, at least on paper, a superior team.
Xavier T (Cedars) (defensively) and Braden T (Priestley) (offensively) delighted the spectators with their best performances of the season. Special mention goes to Maxim A (Ridgeway) who is our MIP (most improved player) to date. His rebounding capacity and presence on the court have become key components in the success of the team. In the end it was a comfortable win of 47-36 and the result keeps us in top position in the LISBA North London Basketball Conference.
