This week we have continued to learn like Bertie the Bee. We read the story ‘Tyrannosaurus Drip’ by Julia Donaldson and had the challenge of making a bridge for the Dinosaurs to cross to get to the other side. We worked together to problem solve and used lots of different materials. We had to make sure it held the weight of the Dinosaurs and did not break.
In Maths we have begun to explore money, looking at the different coins and their value. We have bought things from our class shop and also sorted the coins with the numeral. We would love you to explore different coins when you are out and about and see if you can recognise any or use them to pay.
In Phonics we have continued with digraphs and are including them in our reading and writing. Keep practising at home using your flashcards and see if you can spot any in your reading books.
