Helping in any way we can

Schools across the country have risen to the challenge to create personal protective equipment (PPE) to help protect the lives of our National Health Service (NHS) staff on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic and this is no exception at The Mount, Mill Hill International. Our amazing Design and Technology department, headed by Ms McInerney and with the help of Mr Brown, has designed the prototype to make protective visors from a mixture of polypropylene and HIPS. Yesterday we delivered 25 protective visors to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Homerton Hospital in London. We now expect to manufacture between 50-75 more protective visors by the end of this week. It has been fantastic to be part of a national effort to do what we can, in any way we can, to protect our NHS and help save lives.
