Over 44% gain 9-7 (A*-A) in I/GCSEs at The Mount, Mill Hill International

The Mount, Mill Hill International is pleased to announce the results of the 2020 IGCSE and GCSE.

Highlights

  • Grades 9 – 7 (A* – A) – 44.9%
  • Grades 9 – 6 (A* – B) – 69.1%
  • Grades 9 – 4 (A* – C) – 94.7%

This year has been like no other and we celebrate the strength and resilience of our teachers and pupils who continued to teach and learn in very difficult circumstances when the School closed in March. The commitment of our pupils to online learning, despite the announcement by Ofqual that they would not be sitting the examinations in the summer, showed true determination that will stand them in good stead as they move forward in their educational journey.

Our teachers must also be commended for their dedication in the face of challenge as they adapted to teaching online to pupils in different time zones. They quickly learnt new technologies to assist their remote teaching, honing their craft in innovative ways, until the very last day of the summer term.

We wish our outgoing pupils all the very best as they move on to their further education. Nearly half of the Year 11 pupils will be joining Mill Hill School to start their A level courses in September while a number have been offered places in other leading independent schools such as The King’s School Canterbury and Dauntsey’s School.
