Meet our new Head Girl, Charlotte…

Why did you want to be Head Girl?

‘I want to see the school thrive and for it to be the best that it can be, and I think I can do that in my position as Head Girl.’

What do you hope to achieve during your time as Head Girl?

‘I want everyone to embrace who they are, be themselves and for everyone to feel welcome. There are lots of new pupils this year and I just want them to feel happy and welcome in the school.’

What is your favourite subject, and why?

‘Art, and I also like French. I really like learning languages and also when I go to France I like to be able to speak French!’

What would you like to be when you’re older?

‘I’d like to be a lifestyle blogger, or a primary school teacher. I love children and I always used to play teachers with my sister when I was younger.’

Describe Belmont in three words…

‘Friendly, Big (not in a scary way but we have big grounds!) and nurturing – it’s like a family.’

What is your favourite thing about Belmont?

‘I really like the ‘Buddy’ system and how friendly all the teachers are. You really feel like you can talk to them about anything at all.’

Something you didn’t know about me is…

‘I have four siblings, a dog, and a cat!’
