Meet our new Prefects for 2020!
This week we are going to be introducing you to our new Prefect team for this year.
We spoke to them about why they wanted to become Prefects, and their favourite things about The Mount, Mill Hill International.

Why did you want to be a Prefect at MMHI?
I want to help students who come from different countries to Mill Hill International School, and support them to be more comfortable in their new environment quickly. Especially in the current COVID-19 situation, students who come to the UK will feel a lot more anxious and afraid.
What would you like to do when you leave school?
I want to be a businessman and equip myself with financial knowledge to help my family business.
What is your favourite subject, and why?
I have two favourite subjects. One is Maths and the other is Business. I like Maths because I enjoy the feeling of solving difficult questions and using the knowledge of Maths to solve problems in real life. Since a young age, I have participated in two national Maths competitions; one is the Chinese National Maths competition in which I won the bronze award, and more recently the UK Maths Challenge in which I won the gold award.
Also, I like Business Studies. I am the second generation in my family business and I want to use the knowledge I gain in Business Studies classes to help my family. With my father’s experience of business, he can always help me when I encounter problems with my Business Studies homework.
What is your favourite thing about MMHI?
My favourite thing about MMHI is that I am able to learn and try different skills and am therefore becoming more of an all-rounder.

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I like playing basketball and always play with my friends after school.
