Year 4 had a memorable experience on Monday morning for their Creative Learning Topic this term, ‘I am Warrior’.
The theme-based Creative Learning Project work topic covers aspects of English, Geography and History.
The Year 4s made Roman and Celtic shields, re-enacted the famous Roman tortoise shell shield formation, and pretended to go to battle just as the Romans and Celts would have.
The pupils were also given commands in Latin to follow; ‘turn left’ or ‘turn right’, which they did very well!
