Year 1 have had a brilliant start to the new academic year and have already settled into their new routines so well. Last week, we discovered a den in our Grimsdell garden and the next day we received a letter from the Wild Child, thanking us for visiting her den. She left us her book telling us all about how she loves living in the wild. She invited us to join her and become wild children too, and learn about all that is wild! We are sure we can rise to the challenge! In Literacy, we used adjectives to describe the Wild Child, and we have also been thinking about her friendship with the wild animals and created freeze frames to show what friendship looks like.
