The Reception children had a great day exploring different type of balls. Big balls, small balls, bouncy balls and heavy balls that can’t bounce at all! They all came up with different ideas on how to play with them. At the end of the lesson we played ‘The Popcorn Machine’. We filled a box with all sort of balls. The teacher was the popcorn maker. At the signal, the popcorn maker tried to get rid all her popcorn in an effort to empty the popcorn container. The children had to try and bring the popcorn back before the box was empty!
