This week in Reception we have been thinking about things that are special to us. This started with a show and tell session where the children each brought in something that was special to them. We made a map of our heart to show all the things we care about and it was lovely to listen to the children expressing what they loved and why. In the role play area we have been retelling the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears using the story to reinforce size ordering and the concept of number, in particular 1 more.
