This week’s Book of the Week has been nominated by Alfie (Y8) from Upper School Book Club, and is a great choice for our younger pupils.
Alfie has recommended the second book in Enid Blyton’s classic Famous Five series – Five Go Adventuring Again.
Alfie’s reason for this choice:
‘When five young cousins spend the summer at their aunt’s, everything gets exciting – there’s a thief among them!
Along with the kids, you get to solve a great mystery and be spellbound by twists and turns in the story.
I would guess that any fans of adventure and mystery books would enjoy this, but this book has many other great themes that almost anyone could get their teeth into!’
