Success Outside of School

Well done to all our Success Outside School entrants this week, our pupils have been very busy! It is great to see Belmontians involved in such a wide variety of activities and hobbies outside school. Keep up the good work!

Sasha (Year 4) has been reading to an older lady called Cynthia every week on the phone, through a charity called Silver Stories. They have built up a lovely friendship over the weeks and Cynthia often says how much she enjoys Sasha reading to her and really looks forward to her call. Here is a photo of Sasha with her certificate to show she has now read to Cynthia 10 times. Well done Sasha!

Maxwell (Year 4) has put a lot of effort and imagination into make Lego Christmas Tree decorations as part of the Lego initiative ‘a build to share’, where for every holiday themed ornament that is made with Lego and posted under #BuildToGive they will donate a Lego set for charity to a child in need; a wonderful cause. Maxwell and his family spent the weekend building these 50 ornaments! Well done!

Congratulations to Annabella (Year 6) who has achieved a Distinction in her Grade 1 Piano Theory exam, and has also completed her PADI Open Water Junior diver course.  (see image in gallery above)

Well done to Martina (Year 7) on being awarded the Highgate Harriers Jack Petchey Achievement Award for 2020!

Congratulations to Lenny ( Year 3) who has achieved a Pass with a Merit in his Grade 4 ABRSM piano Performance exam which he took recently.  We are very proud of Lenny’s achievement and his efforts.
