Reception have had a very busy week this week; the competition is on to see which class is the best at zipping up their coats. Will it be REJ, RHD or RAB? – watch this space to find out.
We have also been making poppy pictures to remember Armistice Day on Wednesday and lots of fun activities on Friday linking to Children in Need.
To move the topic on from ‘All About Me’ to ‘Into the Woods’, this week the children went into the science garden after there were reported strange noises. They followed a trail of feathers towards the sound. What strange creature could have been making that sound?
The children then drew pictures of what they thought it could be. In phonics the children had a fantastic time making rockets to reinforce the sound ‘r’.
