This week, we received a further letter from the Wild Child telling us that she has heard a howling in the woods that she does not recognise. Could it be wolves? She asked the children to find out lots of information about wolves to try to find out if there are any in our woods.
Thankfully, with her letter she also left us a book called Walk with a Wolf through which we have begun to discover so many interesting facts about wolves! Did you know that a group of wolves is called a pack?
This week, Year 1 also had an Art lesson with our specialist Art teacher, Mrs Wells, who taught us how to use different techniques to draw and paint a wolf.
We also commemorated Remembrance Day by making our own poppies and holding a minute’s silence within our classes.
