Last week was National Safer Internet Day and E-Safety Week the pupils spent the week looking at how they can celebrate all the wonderful things the internet provides.
The children were also reminded that they must tread carefully in to the digital world, leaving behind an educated digital footprint.
Last week’s assembly focussed on children making SMART choices online, making sure the information they seek is reliable, that what they send displays our value of kindness and that they recognise the need to share with a trusted adult when faced with information of behaviour they are unsure of.
We asked all pupils to think about their time spent on screen and the impact this has on other areas of their lives. As usual the children were reflective and can apply the lessons learnt to keep them safe online.
