Science week has been a great success with Professor Pea and Professor Nut launching the week with a splash of colour! The children have had an amazing time throughout the week and each year group have taken part in lots of different practical activities. The photos of the activities speak for themselves, from Nursery exploring different mixtures and coming home covered in white powders! While in Reception, children experimented with egg drops and being mini engineers, Year One explored with colours using skittles sweets (Chromatography) despite the temptation to eat the sweets! Year 2 were fascinated by making their very own husky robots which whizzed around frantically! These are just a few of the fun activities that took place this week. Thank you to all the parents who contributed to Science week in ‘I am a Scientist’ videos and the children thoroughly watching them.
