We started the Spring topic by exploring the pond in the Science Garden and the Village pond to look for signs of life and Spring. This sparked great discussions of frog and caterpillar life cycles. Reception even had a visit to the Nursery to look at and hold the ducklings that hatched last week! The children thought they were adorable and have really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a duck. Do you remember what they felt like? Try and remember your adjectives.
