What a busy week we have had in Reception! We have had so much fun taking part in Science Week and getting prepared for Easter.
This week Reception have taken on many science challenges such as ‘Bouncy Balls’, ‘The Egg Drop Challenge’, ‘Creating Cogs’ and ‘Paper towel art – Follow the Rainbow’. We have been working together, making connections and being creative in each challenge to be successful engineers.
We had a special Zoom experience from The Professor ‘Dangerous Dan’! He showed us many experiments that involved acids and alkaloids that changed colours and a lesson on density with liquids. We then became scientists ourselves to create oil lava lamps and got messy in the ‘Magic Mud’!
