This Week in Nursery…

We have had a wonderful first week back and have been so lucky to have such lovely weather, so have taken full advantage of this.

The children have enjoyed playing in the large outdoor sand tray, decorating the igloo with lots of colours and playing with the bats, balls and ropes.

On Wednesday the children learnt that our new topic was ‘Japan’. We received a lovely letter from Mimiko who lives in Tokyo and she asked us to think of some questions that we could ask her so we could find out more information about Japan. The children thought of some wonderful questions and over the term they will be answered.

The children have enjoyed learning all about Eco week, each day there are two new Eco Warriors and they keep an eye on the recycling and not wasting energy by turning the lights off when they are not being used. All the children will get an opportunity to be an Eco Warrior within the next couple of weeks.

Today in Forest School the children enjoyed getting back to climbing trees, climbing on the rope bridge, playing in the mud kitchen and searching for Superworm.
