Congratulations to Toby (Upper Sixth, Weymouth) who has been awarded an Army Officer Scholarship.
The Army Officer Scholarship Scheme is offered to students with the potential to make excellent army officers.
The Scholarship will partly fund Toby’s university fees and guarantees him a place at Sandhurst Military Academy after he has finished his degree.
Toby hopes to go to Bristol University to study Business.
To be awarded the Scholarship Toby had to go through several stages of testing, both physical and mental and, finally, a three-day Main Board test – an all-round intense mental and physical test, as well as three interviews with the Head of Recruitment at Sandhurst.
