The children having been thinking about ‘Sakura’ which is Japanese term used for Cherry blossom tree.
These types of trees are very different to cherry trees as they do not produce fruit but instead produce lovely blossoms of pink and white flowers.
Year 1 have been looking at cherry blossom trees and created their cherry blossom art by observing closely using different techniques to draw and paint them.
