Valedictory Service 2021

On Friday we held our Valedictory Service to wish a very fond farewell and good luck to our Upper Sixth leavers.

The service was held in the Chapel, a very special place for every Millhillian, with many pupils, staff, and parents joining the celebration via-live stream.

We were able to reflect on the leavers’ time at Mill Hill and celebrate their fantastic achievements. Following the service, pupils and staff gathered for the Head’s reception in the dining room for special  food, drinks and music, spilling out onto top terrace as the weather unexpectedly improved in the late afternoon.

The Senior Monitors and Sixth Form Monitors also took part in the now customary releasing of the doves, which was a spectacular sight. The pupils collected their leavers’ hoodies and yearbook in the final hour, with a final gathering of emotional written farewells to remember the strong friendships they have made a long the way.

After a difficult and unpredictable year we are so glad that we were able to say goodbye to our pupils in the traditional Mill Hill way. We are extremely proud of every single one of our leavers and we wish them every success and happiness for their bright futures that lie ahead.
