The children’s last full week in Nursery was wonderful.
The children came in on Monday to find that the superhero role play area had changed to enable them to build up their gross motor skills. They had a bop bag, a yoga mat, hoops, beanbags and balls.
The children also became actual Superhero’s on Monday. They had a Superhero challenge which involved jumping, balancing and throwing and if they achieved the challenge, they would become a Superhero and receive a special golden medal. The children were so amazing at the challenge, and I am proud to say that they all passed, receiving gold medals and becoming Superhero’s. They were so pleased with themselves and told me they were all available to save the day if there was ever an emergency in school. 😊
This week we thought about the last year, looking at photographs of the activities and events we have taken part in over the Nursery year. We talked about our favourite activities, topics and the friends we will miss when we move into Reception. The children were amazed at how small they use to be.
Today the children had wonderful fun for their last Nursery Forest School. The children experienced a fire and made popcorn. They also built a volcano and watched it erupt.
What a great week
