This week has been very poignant and full of emotion, with three Year 2 Leavers’ Ceremonies and a fabulous party (complete with silent disco!) for our Year 2 children, moving on to Belmont.
The ceremonies allowed the children to reflect on their time here, including; singing the Leavers’ Song, performing the Year 2 dance, hearing a speech from me (which I hope was not too boring!) and receiving a book and Grimsdell tie to keep forever.
The party was a joyful event with the parents pulling out all the stops to make this a wonderful and memorable experience for the children. Thank you to the GPA Year 2 Parents for planning this with such care and love.
