For the past few weeks the Charity Committee and community action have joined forces to help make sanitary pads for girls/women here in the UK and Africa.
The charity, @thisgirlcan.period are hoping to aim period poverty in the UK and Kenya by providing menstrual health education and sustainable period products.
We were very fortunate to have Anne Nicholls, who is a parent at Mill Hill, come and teach us how to make the products and explain how the work we are doing helps women all over the world.
