Year 3 pupils enjoyed a special visit to the Library this morning as Mrs Pendred and Mrs Hunt launched their new reading challenge, The Reading Road Map.
Pupils browsed all the brand new titles, looked at the different genres and chose one book each; they also took a special Road Map to fill up, earning a shiny sticker for every title they read.
Pupils will also be given an emoji to add to the Jubilee wall display where they can instantly review the title they have just finished.
The children were so excited to explore the books and try some new genres: we hope they enjoy their reading journeys and can’t wait to see the display boards filling up with pupil feedback!
