Success Outside of School!

Well done to all our pupils who have achieved things outside of school this week!

  • Well done to Jasmyn (6JR), Sebastian (6AH) and Jensen (6AH) who all represented Barnet in the London Youth Games on Saturday, running alongside children from 31 other London boroughs. The course was quite gruelling but lots of fun was had!
  • Oliver (8AC) recently entered the Young Writers competition. In a field of over 12,000 entries, his poem entitled “A Soldier’s Dream” has been selected to be printed for the Young Adults Work called Empowered – A Fountain of Ink. Click here to read Oliver’s poem.
  • Congratulations to Amelie (5AD) who achieved a Merit in her Grade 1 Piano exam.
  • Following on from her recent swimming success, last weekend Sofia (6KA) participated in the Barnet Copthall Swimming County Qualifier Meet 2 with representatives from a number of clubs across London. She swam 6 events and won 6 medals: one 1st place in 100m butterfly, three 2nd places (100m individual medley, 100m backstroke, 200m freestyle), and finally two 3rd places (200m backstroke and 100m freestyle). Well done again, Sofia!
