Year 1 have been busy preparing for our whole school Nativity show next week. We are certain our audience will be thoroughly entertained and enthused with the Christmas festive spirit.
In Maths, we practised our number bond knowledge within 10 to help us find and make equal values.
In Literacy, the children planned and wrote their own Queen’s story, using the structure that they are now familiar with from ‘The Queen’s Handbag’ and ‘The Queen’s Knickers’ to help them plan and adapt their own versions.
The week ended with our fabulous finish STEAM workshop where we worked collaboratively to build a London landmark out of newspaper. The results were extremely impressive!
