Earlier in March, we had informed you that 27 Millhillians departed Mill Hill School to travel to the National Tennis Centre for the 24hour Tennis Marathon event in aid of the charity, Bright Ideas for Tennis, see article:
One of our pupils was so inspired that he decided to volunteer for BIFT:
At that time, the fundraised amount was an already incredible figure of £10,500.
Since then, Mr Barron (Head of Sixth Form) and Miss Ward (Head of Tennis) have completed their much anticipated skydives. This has increased the total amount fundraised for Bright Ideas for Tennis charity to an incredible £12,665, including gift aid; thank you for your generous support.
Miss Ward states: “The skydive was the ultimate adrenaline rush! It was such an amazing feeling. I was stressed and exhilarated in equal measure. Now I know how Superman felt!”
