Activities Week: Day 1

Activities Week has officially kicked off! Children spent the day in forms racing through a timetable of activities designed to stretch, inspire and challenge every pupil.

Safari Pete was once again a hit, capturing the imagination of the children as he told tales of their natural habitat and let the pupils stroke Jay Z the crocodile.

A small number of pupils were able to unicycle by the end of the day in the Circus skills session and all the pupils were wowed by the magician.

Our Year 7 pupils started their camps and have made great strides in preparation work for projects such as The Dragons Den and Master Chef. They have also got to grips with their musical theatre production and the fashion show occurring tomorrow.

Year 6 avoided most of the rain at Kew Garden. Pupils had a fantastic time learning about plants from around the world after testing their nerve on the tree top walk.

Today is another jam-packed day with Year 3 off to Mountfitchet Castle and Year 5 to The Natural History Museum.
