Activities Week: Day 2

There was more fun and adventure for our Belmontians on Day 2 of Activities Week.

Year 3 and 5 were offsite at Mountfitchet and The Natural History Museum respectively, whilst year 4 stayed at school to take part in the carousal.

The Year 7 mini camps culminated in an incredible fashion; around the school one could see all their hard work in action. We had visiting judges testing the poise and strategy in the Dragons Den Challenge, whilst chefs were delighting the judging at the international school with an array of delicious food from steak to panna cotta. The musical theatre group put on their final show to our Year 4 pupils and the mosaic team put the finishing touches to their artwork. We were joined by two judges for the sustainable fashion show and the pupils enjoyed strutting the catwalk of Quad 1 in the sunshine and explaining the story behind their creations. The field was a buzz of activity in the sunshine.

Wimbledon came to NW7 with Mr Tongue’s Tennis Academy finishing with a fiercely contested competition. Mr Weekes’ Cricket camp finished on a high after two days of intense training and games. We said goodbye to our football coaches from Spurs after two days of technical and tactical challenges and finally our charities team Give Together had a very busy day working on their projects; pupils put together comfort cases and designed low cost but scrumptious and nutritious meals.
