Monday was a great day as we had our first Sports Day involving all of the School community since 2019. The sun shone throughout the day and the pupils had a wonderful time competing in events and enthusiastically supporting their Houses.
Whether running, jumping, throwing or straining every sinew in the tug of war, the pupils gave their all for their Houses. There were some remarkable individual and team performances throughout the day with a plethora of School records being broken, particularly in the relay races. Congratulations to the Danes for gaining first place in the six House Year 3 and Year 7 competition (including our new Celts and Vikings Houses) and to the Angles for their victory in the Year 4,5,6 and 8 House competition.
It was great to have all of our families witness their children enjoying such a memorable day.
