Celebrating our best results since 2016

Over half (64%) of IGCSE and GCSE qualifications were graded 9-7 (A*-A) today as Year 11 pupils celebrate the results of their examinations.
Across 22 subjects, 81% of the I/GCSEs were awarded 9-6 (A*-B), with 97.5% of all results gaining 9-4 (A*-C).

Mill Hill International’s Head, Sarah Bellotti, commented, “I am truly proud of our Year 11 pupils who have achieved such outstanding grades. After two years of disrupted education due to the pandemic, it will come as a relief that their hard work has paid off. As expected, our pupils have secured the grades needed for the next step of their education.”

“I thank the commitment and unwavering support from our teachers who have worked hard not only to maintain standards during such trying times but also through their dedication have helped pupils reach their goals barely dreamed of when they started the School. That the majority of pupils achieved these exceptional grades in a course that lasted under a year, it worthy of high praise indeed.”

Mill Hill International’s highest achiever this year is Jeremy Leung, who is off to Highgate School to study Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography A levels having gained seven 9s, one 8 and two As.

Jasper Yeung gained five 9s, one 8, one A*, and one A and will take up his place in Chigwell School to study Politics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A level.

Joshua Singer was awarded four 9s and one 7 and will continue his further education in the Foundation, joining Mill Hill School to study Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

“Not all learning is measured by GCSEs, and we also congratulate our pupils who leave Mill Hill International with the six characteristics* they have developed during their time at the School. We know that these will serve them well in their valuable and fulfilling futures. We wish them every success as they start their further education with the ambition and drive that they have manifested so well at our School.”
