We congratulate our Fifth Form pupils on a superb set of GCSE results announced today. We are delighted that, once again, pupils were able to sit GCSE examinations and that they have achieved some absolutely outstanding results.
Over 60% of grades awarded to our Fifth Form pupils were at 9-7, which is a brilliant reflection of the sustained hard work and dedication applied by both pupils and staff, and with excellent parental support, often in challenging circumstances. More than 97% of candidates achieved at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including an incredible 36% of candidates who achieved at least five grades at 9 or 8.
We are now supporting our pupils as they move on to the next phase of their education and look forward to welcoming back many pupils into our Sixth Form in September.
