Pupils and Staff Attend The Laver Cup!

“Twelve lucky pupils and staff have visited London’s O2 Arena to see some of the world’s top Tennis players battle it out in The Laver Cup!

This was made possible by the amazing fundraising of our pupils for the Bright Ideas for Tennis Charity (BIFT). Mill Hill School was the highest school fundraiser reaching just over £13,000. As a result, BIFT offered our pupils and staff complimentary tickets to this iconic event. This competition saw Team Europe take on Team World and marked the retirement of Roger Federer.

Our pupils and staff watched the opening ceremony. Here, Bjorn Borg led out Team Europe and John McEnroe led out Team World. Our pupils loved watching Novak Djokovic defeat Frances Tiafoe and later team up with Matteo Berrettini to defeat Jack Sock and Alex de Minaur in a spectacular doubles masterclass!
