We were very lucky to welcome Maureen Wells back into our classrooms to immerse us in an art session. We created artwork using mono-printing on fabric. We also created our own Indian themed patterns using pastels, wax and ink. Impressive work Year 2!
In preparations for our trip, we read and sorted tiger statements then thought carefully about what we wanted to know about tigers. Then we wrote questions about tigers as next week we will be researching answers to our questions.
Our trip to London zoo was fantastic on Friday. Thank you to our superb parents for preparing the children for our outing with yummy packed lunches. After a smooth coach journey there, we spent the day touring the zoo making sure to spend considerable time in Tiger Territory and Land of the Lions where they have replicated an Indian street scene. The children spotted many different animals and had a joyous day.
