Fourth Form Induction and Team Building Trip

The first week of term for our Fourth Form pupils began with a teambuilding trip to Kent.

The focus was definite and clear: to help our pupils get to know one another and build lasting friendships. Pupils spent two nights at Grosvenor Hall in Kent taking part in a range of activities in teams, designed to build their communication skills, problem-solving abilities and confidence.

The pupils were a credit to the School and approached everything with enthusiasm and energy, from navigating an assault course blindfolded to jumping off the ‘leap of faith,’ it was great to see them get to know their peers better and push themselves out of their comfort zone.

Fortunately, the weather remained dry, for the most part, allowing our pupils to spend their free time taking advantage of the great outdoors, playing volleyball, football and even hosting a catwalk. A huge thank you must go to the passionate team of staff who gave up their time to ensure the trip could happen. A second thank you must go to parents; without your support this would not have been possible. Your feedback has been invaluable and will allow us to improve our plans for next year.
