On Friday 7 October 2022, Fifth Form Geographers visited Epping Forest to investigate how the characteristics of a river (Debden Brook) change downstream. Pupils approached their research with brilliant enthusiasm; some even worked well enough to take advantage of the excellent weather and fit in a quick sunbathe between sites. The day was not without its challenges, which included more than one shopping trolley obstructing the river and a lot of nettles on the banks, but pupils were not deterred and collected all the data they needed for their physical Geography enquiry. One group were so efficient they managed to collect triple the required data to make their study even more robust! Well done to all involved in a very successful trip.
