On Thursday, Year 6 were visited by Sarah and Katie from Comfort Cases who told them all about the wonderful work they do for children entering foster care. The pupils listened attentively to the heart wrenching facts about children, potentially their own age, being told to pack their belongings into a black rubbish bag.
Year 6 are very excited to be supporting the charity this year in their Future Skills Community sessions, and even more excited to take part in a ‘packing party’ at the end of the year, packing rucksacks full of basic necessities for children across the country entering foster care.
