We are very proud of Jake (4NH) and Jago (4EP) who took part in a litter pick at Alyth Synagogue for Mitzvah Day. Well done Jake and Jago! Mitzvah Day is a day to do good deeds in the Jewish Faith. Individuals from other faiths also get involved in the day too and spend their time helping others.
Congratulations to Leo (7JR) who represented the UK in The Lake Garda International Regattas in Italy. He did exceptionally well coming 38th in a group of 120 sailors from around the world!
Well done to Max (7NB) for entering the Vaya International Music Festival Competition. We are delighted to announce that he won the gold medal for Strings in the Junior Division!
Aristos Demetriou (4TB) participated in the County Qualifier across 11 swimming clubs at Barnet Copthall Swimming Club. He swam 12 races over the last two Sundays and was awarded six Gold Medals (for 400m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Individual Medley, 100m Backstroke, 200m Freestyle and 200m Breaststroke), three Silver Medals (for 200m Individual Medley, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Freestyle) and two Bronze Medals (for 50m Butterfly and 50m Backstroke). He also achieved all of the county qualifier times for his age group.
Well done to Sofia Demetriou (7JR), who has passed her Violin Grade 2 Exam with a high Merit Score. Sofia also participated in the County Qualifier across 11 Swimming clubs at Barnet Copthall Swimming club. She was awarded a Silver Medal for 100m Backstroke and two Bronze Medals for 200m Individual Medley and 50m Freestyle. She also achieved numerous county qualifier times for her age group. Keep up the excellent work, Sofia!
