This week our pupils, parents and staff gathered in the Chapel and the Large for a fabulous music concert! The evening featured performances by the Chapel Brass, Chapel Choir, Saxophone Ensemble, Camerata, String Orchestra, Glee Club, Jazz Band and Big Band. The concert began with Choral Music in the Chapel. Next, we moved to the Large and enjoyed Orchestral Music. This was followed by Jazz Music, which rounded off the evening perfectly.
The evening was a treat for the ears, and everyone left with a smile on their faces! We especially enjoyed the variety of music on offer. There was everything from Handel’s ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks’ performed by the Chapel Brass to a Taylor Swift mash up, sung by the Glee Club!
Well done to everyone who was involved in the concert! Special thanks to Mr Kyle, Mr Pateman, Miss Macleod, Mr Siebertz, Miss Shefield, Mr Evanson, Mr Saint, all our Visiting Music Teachers, Fabienne Zamora, Mr Norrington, Mr Albrecht, Mr Pomeroy, and Mr Gibson and his team for their hard work.
