During tutorials this week, pupils have been designing and making Christmas cards to send to older members of the local community. This is a project in association with one of our school charities, Age UK.
Age UK is a charity which supports older people. Their vision is a world where everyone can love later life. Age UK organises all sorts of activities for older people such as cookery classes, walks and exercise classes. The charity also offers support for older people who are struggling with loneliness or other issues. At Mill Hill International we have had a long association with the charity.
