What a wonderfully festive week in Nursery.
The children came into school on Monday, and they had received a special letter from Stickman. He was returning for his yearly visit however, wanted to bring us some special Christmas decorations to decorate our classroom. The children then made a list of all the things they thought we should get for the classroom, they then entered Nursery on Tuesday to a Christmas wonderland.
The children have then spent the week decorating the Christmas tree, dressing up as Santa and his elves, making Christmas cards and calendars. In Santa’s workshop they have been creating Christmas playdough biscuits and making decorations.
The children have also loved learning about the Nativity story, they then have been retelling it using small world resources.
The children have all been to visit the large at Mill Hill school this week. The children all went up on the stage and sang their song from the Nativity. We are incredibly proud and excited to see them perform next week.
Today was the best Funday Friday ever as it was Christmas party day. The children all looked wonderful in their fancy dress clothes or their party wear and had great fun dancing, playing party games, pass the parcel and having a Christmas tea party.
