This week in History, we have been learning about the first trip into space in 1969. We researched how the event was reported, what were the different sources of evidence and what evidence is reliable. In Literacy/History, we watched the first moon landing and sequenced the events. We learnt all about Neil Armstrong, his life and the moon landing and then compared his life and space explorations with Tim Peake and his more recent experiences.
We also introduced a new book; ‘How to be on the Moon’ by Vivian Schwarz.
