Congratulations to our U13 Netball A team who represented Belmont at the Regional round of the IAPS tournament. Every Friday evening the girls have been training hard and their preparations paid off as they took to the court at Hurstpierpoint, Sussex.
We found ourselves in a strong pool playing two of the eventual winners in the initial rounds. As the girls found their rhythm, we notched a number of impressive wins eventually getting through to the Plate Competition.
After three consecutive wins, the girls faced a strong Brighton College team in the Final. Their determination, team spirit and focus paid off as they came away victorious!
Coached by Mrs Nicol, the girls should be very proud of their achievements and the journey they have been on as a squad. For the vast majority, this will be their final Netball tournament representing Belmont. Finishing their Belmont Netball journey as Plate Champions is a very fitting end to this chapter and we know they have a very successful future ahead of them as a team at Mill Hill.
