Remove and Lower Sixth Artists Visit to The Tate Modern and The Hayward Gallery

56 Remove and Lower Sixth artists have been to see the Magdalena Abakanowicz ‘Every tangle of thread and rope’ exhibition at Tate Modern and the immersive Mike Nelson exhibition at The Hayward Gallery in London.  

The pupils explored large hanging textiles pieces and beautiful collective rooms full of wonderful, exciting and contemporary works to impact their practice. 

Thank you to Ms Collins for organising the trip, and to Miss Randell, Head of Art, Miss Lennard, Teacher of Art, Mr Lockwood, Art Technician, and Ms Lam, Teacher of Art and of course our Remove and Lower Sixth artists for a thoroughly inspiring day.
